The Islwyn Ministry Area is made up of eleven churches in the South Wales Valleys.
Ministry Area
The Islwyn Ministry Area is made up of eleven churches in the South Wales Valleys from Risca in the South, to Pengam in the North. Our church communities have an active presence in our wider communities, offering activities such as community Friendship Groups and all-age services. Of course, we also hold traditional church services such as offering the Eucharist on Sundays and weekdays. Occasional we hold Benediction and Exposition, Community Carol Services, and of course the Occasional Offices (Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals) throughout the area.

Serving our communities
We strive to offer loving service in our communities. As Christ told his followers “just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” There are a variety of groups and events throughout our churches taking place. Some examples are friendship groups and seasonal family days.

Life Events
Each of our churches is available for the ‘occasional offices’ more commonly known as Baptisms (Christenings), Weddings, and Funerals. If you would like to discuss any of these we would be more than happy to discuss it with you or answer any questions you may have.
